Engineering & Technology Graduate

"As an Engineering and Technology (E&T) Graduate, I get the opportunity to work with different departments and teams across Rolls-Royce.

My Graduate scheme started off at the Mechanical Test and Operations Centre (MTOC), where I helped the Vibrations Team with the process for two of their measurement techniques. Afterwards, I moved to Life Cycle Engineering, working on the BR725, and my current role is supporting the Digital Product Design Team with the AutoBlisk project.

The key to success at Rolls-Royce, always be open minded and curious about learning new things.

The best part about is my role is seeing the engines in real life. It really broadens my understanding of how all components and subsystems play into each other to create a functioning engine. "

Engineering & Technology Graduate

At Rolls-Royce, I have really learned to step out of my comfort zone and face challenges with the right mindset.

As a graduate working in Rolls-Royce Dahlewitz, I rotate between multiple departments to understand the breadth of the tasks and roles within the business.

Every three months, I meet new individuals with different backgrounds. It really motivates me to try new things and learn from everyone's experiences, and the social events inspire me to be more active outside work.

Professionally, my biggest highlight was visiting the facility in Derby and seeing the Ultrafan demonstrator. It was truly marvellous.

During the graduate program, each one of us is assigned a career coach. This is an experienced individual within the company who signs up to mentor graduates. Mine really helped me figure out my interests, the opportunities that I could be a part of, and the teams I wanted to join.
