Meet Emma

Chief of Materials - Applications & Design Support

"If you love problem solving and collaborating with a world-class team of many different disciplines, Rolls-Royce could be the place for you.

In my role, I look after a global team of around 90 Materials Engineers, who are delivering tasks including new design, production support, service support, and research & technology. This helps keep the both the defence and civil aerospace fleets safe and flying.

Among my favourite moments at Rolls-Royce so far has been leading a team of top specialists from all over the company in tackling a new in-service challenge. It was an obstacle the company had never seen before but our experts working together were able to successfully identify the root cause and implement a solution.

I would thoroughly recommend working here."
