Lead Customer Operations Officer - Global Customer Operations

"Rolls-Royce is a great place to work, with great people that you can learn a lot from. We do great things and power the world.

I began my career on a three-year Apprenticeship programme which saw me take various rotations around the business, including Defence Submarines and Civil Aerospace, whilst studying my BSc in Programme Management.

Today, I am based in the United Arab Emirates, as the first line of support for customers within the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia region.

My personal highlight has been delivering 'Entry into Service' for Emirates on 65 of their A350-900 aircraft.

This was an 18-month long programme that required us to work very closely with Emirates, being co-located with their team, as well as partnering with Airbus. I was responsible for a large package of work, and was empowered to work at all levels of the organisation, including full upskilling of Emirates personnel on-site in Dubai.

At the end, it was a great feeling to see the first A350-900 fly and to gain some great feedback from the Emirates team."
