Our relationship with Japan spans more than 100 years, going back to when Vickers (now part of Rolls-Royce) built the battleship Mikasa for the Japanese Imperial Navy
Today, we are one of the largest suppliers of propulsion to Japan, with offices in Tokyo and Kobe and a service support office in Haneda International Airport.
Our three businesses have significant presence enabling our customers - including ANA, JAL, the Self Defense Forces and the Coast Guard - to accomplish their mission critical objectives every day.
Our Japanese risk and revenue sharing partners (RRSPs) include Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, IHI and Sumitomo Precision Products, who provide us with high levels of expertise on all our Trent engines.
