It’s where the company started, and where we’re headquartered. Employees in the UK work across many areas of our business, in sites all over the UK from Scotland to the South West.
We spend about two thirds of our global R&D investment in the UK, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of technology. We have 19 University Technology Centres where we work in long term collaborative partnership with some of the best universities in the UK focusing on early stage research. And we work closely with the network of Advanced Manufacturing Research Centres to stay at the forefront of production techniques.
Our state-of-the-art Apprentice Academy in Derby trains hundreds of apprentices each year, many of whom will join the company or go on to work in our supply chain.
