Electrical and Electronics Degree Apprenticeship

As an Electrical and Electronics Degree Apprentice, you’ll be working on electric and hybrid-electric drive systems, gas turbine engines like UltraFan and electronic engine controls.

What you'll need

Five GCSEs which must include Maths at grade 5/B, plus English Language and three other subjects at grade 4/C.

Plus, 112 UCAS points (obtained or predicted) from either:

  • Three A-Levels at grade BBC, including Maths at Grade B or above, and ideally an Engineering or STEM related subject (excluding Biology and General Studies) plus one other subject
  • A Level 3 Extended BTEC Diploma in an Engineering or STEM-related subject, along with A-Level Maths at grade B.

What’s more, you’ll need to be:

  • someone who understands the nature of integrated power and thermal management
  • interested in electrical and electronics and the future of sustainable power
  • an agile thinker and creative problem-solver
  • willing to learn and ready to work as part of a team.

What you’ll do

Over four years, you’ll develop invaluable technical skills. Working with world-class experts, you’ll learn on the job, working on everything from digital and analogue design, all the way through to testing and manufacturing. Alongside this, you’ll study for your Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Warwick.

Day to day, you’ll be part of exciting work based in our state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility. From research, design and test, to build, modify and develop, every stage of development is done under one roof. It’s an unrivalled environment where you can apply the theory you’ve learned as part of your degree. And be inspired to do work you can be proud of.
